Description
This test examines the inside of the intestine using a thin, flexible tube equipped with a video camera. The examination usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes, although you should expect to be in hospital for about two hours.

- instructions on how to prepare for the examination
- information about a low-residue diet, which you must follow three days before the examination, medication
- a prescription for a blood test as well as a prescription for an oral bowel cleansing solution, which you must take the night before and morning of the examination
